Past Projects

Swinburne SpaceWorks has worked on a number of major visualisation projects, primarily in the astronomy and stereoscopic areas. Some of the major projects in which SpaceWorks have been a key player are listed here:

The Virtual Room The Virtual Room is a state-of-the-art display environment. It is a unique place for the visualisation of scientific and historical ideas, and associated objects. It is your first glimpse of an entirely new imaging technology. It's still experimental and promises to change the way we see things.

Square Kilometer Array The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) is the world's next generation radio telescope. With a collecting area of one square kilometre, it will be about 100 times the size of the biggest existing radio telescopes.

2dF: A Flight Through the Universe After 5 years of observations with the Anglo-Australian Telescope, the 2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey of nearly 250,000 galaxies within the nearby Universe is now complete.

Infinity Express ... and the universe is slowly offering up its secrets
